Sunday Funnies

8 comments:

  1. AJ,

Did you deliberately fail to mention that Basil Marceaux received a whopping 0% of the vote in the Republican primary?

Did you deliberately fail to mention that Bill Haslam is the GOP candidate (and has a commanding 23% advantage in the polls)?

Or, did you just get punked?

  2. It's called "Sunday Funnies" for a reason.

Heard about this guy a few months ago. Was watching the Saints game today which, for some reason, reminded me of his silly bayou name.

"punked?" look at you with the hip lingo.

Your paranoia is cute. I don't post things to further or support an agenda. I post things because I find them absurd, regardless of where I find the absurdity.

Did you know that our friend Basil, when accused of being intoxicated during the filming of a campaign video, stated that his speech was slurred because he only had three teeth?

And you're going to bring up election results? C'mere you, -noogie-noogie-noogie-

  4. My mission statement, stated very clearly at the top of the blog, is to "disseminate the nonsense of the day." What could be more nonsensical than the segue from the news anchors to our friend Basil?

And that you could attempt to discern a political or ideological motive from something as absurd as this video speaks to your silly goosey-ness. But I still love you.

"I did not read your blog so much as skim it. What I found was very familiar, very predictable and -- sorry to say -- very stereotypical. It’s about as automaton cookie cutter Leftist as it gets.

    4) Anybody who would create or read this sort of blog is a fully indoctrinated hate monger well beyond the reach of reason. Ergo, I won’t waste my time.

    Adios,

    SBVOR"

I'm glad you're still wasting your time. Hold on a second...."Anybody who would create or READ this sort of blog is a fully indoctrinated hate monger well beyond the reach of reason..."?

Don't be so hard on yourself.

  7. Are you two still at it?

By the way, I think I may have stumbled into his relative in a little dive bar down in town. He kept rambling on and on about political nonsense. He couldn't get his point of view and his mouth to coordinate with one another.

  8. Thats actually an excellent analogy. Our friend actually has some intriguing points to make but there definitely is a disconnect between the what he wants to say and how he says it.
