I'm of two minds about this. First, I totally agree with the uncle and his anger over the gangsta crap, but I'm not so sure about the whipping he's giving this kid on camera.
While I'm on the subject, why is the uncle wearing his pants down like a gangsta?
The uncle is just scared about the repercussions of playing gang member, and wanted to make the point to the boy's audience (likely some gang members too). He did the smartest thing by nipping this game in the bud.
"I am not S.C." Annoying Joe, if you disappear at Easter I'm calling Jesus or the Easter Bunny.
Sinville - Not to worry. And that was the impression I did get from Uncle. He very methodically and effectively acted to dispel the image Nephew was attempting to portray to his audience.

Talk about mixed messages.
Or...
ReplyDeleteAre the uncle and the nephew both gang members and the uncle is actually schooling the nephew on how not to get caught?
Who knows...

Cube - Uncle's pants are down because his belt is otherwise occupied.
ReplyDeleteI generally think that beating a child is a selfish and angry thing to do. In this case, however, I think Uncle's heart is in the right place.
SBVOR - Not the impression I got.
